Support Group on Urban Living Space

Terms of reference

  1. identify key issues relevant to Hong Kong's long-term sustainability in the Pilot / Priority Area, with appropriate reference to international experience and best practice.
  2. collect relevant background information (with reference to local and international experience) and compile an "Invitation and Response" document.
  3. design and implement the public involvement stage of the engagement process for public discussion of the "Invitation and Response" document and related issues.
  4. present the "Invitation and Response" document to the public and to encourage and facilitate interactive discussion by stakeholders with a view to building consensus among major groups.
  5. receive and collate responses from stakeholders, with a view to making proposals to the Strategy Sub-committee and Council for Sustainable Development.
